Other Information:

Arrival: Arrival at camp is between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, July 23.  If you are simply dropping people off, tell the park ranger at the gate that you are dropping off people at the youth camp site.  If you are staying for camp, please tell them that at the gate so that you can be given the appropriate parking pass.  (If you cannot arrive at camp during the arrival period, please contact camp staff by clicking here.)

Pick-up/Departure: Clean up of the camp area begins around 9 a.m. on Friday, July 27.  Parents/Guardians are welcome to come and help for this.  Otherwise we ask that rides arrive at 10:30 a.m. to pack up.  We have a closing service at 11 a.m., and the camp draws to a close at Noon.  (If you cannot depart camp during the pick-up/departure period, please contact camp staff by clicking here.)

Minors: We ask that all minors be accompanied by a senior counselor when coming to camp.  If there are no senior counselors coming from your church, please
contact camp staff by clicking here.

Tents: At Camp Chi Rho, we rely on our campers and counselors to provide tents, but no one is required to bring one.  If you are willing to bring one, please understand that people from other churches may be staying in your tent.  You will be asked about your tent in the registration form.  If an entire family is registering, please sign up only once for each tent.

Additional Forms: As camp approaches, you will be emailed links to two more forms.  One form is a "Promises and Goals" form that will be required for all Campers and Junior Counselors.  The other form is a "Request to Give Medication" to be filled out by the parent/guardian of a minor who brings any kind of medication to camp (prescription or over-the-counter).
