Welcome to the Northern WI District Commission on Youth Discipleship (NWDCYD) website!
We are pleased to serve you! The NWDCYD is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) CYD. Our mission is to encourage and assist WELS congregations and parents as they nurture youth in the Word from birth through high school.
Our goal is to provide counsel, resources, support and networking in Christ-centered, proactive, timely, relevant, practical, positive and enriching ways in the following areas:
Parenting
Early Childhood
Sunday School
Junior Youth
Confirmation
Teens
Workshops and Rallies
Technology
In order to serve you best, we'd really appreciate your input. Please tell us what specific resources you would like us to provide. Also tell us if you have any resources to offer. As we gather information, we will continually add it to the site.
